Analyse d’images 3D : 24-26 novembre
Detailed programmes and registration forms will be sent to our mailing list at least two months before the training courses.
Happy new year 2026!

13 November 2025 1.30 pm : Workshop Morphonet
the morphonet team proposes a workshop for you, the biologists to get started with the user friendly, open source software morphonet. The workshop takes half a day, the 13 november 1.30 in the room 032 in the CRBM building. If you work with big 3D or 3D+t datasets this workshop is probably for you. You will have the possibility to work on your own data during the workshop.
This worshop will be animated by Emmanuel Faure and Tao Laurent from LIRMM
Please feel free to contact
November 2025 : Ateliers Biocampus - MRI
24-27 novembre : « Microscopie à épi-fluorescence et microscopie confocale : de la base à la pratique »
25-27 novembre : « Analyse d'images 3D avec des logiciels libres »

10-17 october 2025 : MRI present at Mifobio
4 MRI engineers partipate to the CNRS thematic scholl Miofbio organised by the GDR Imabio. They were involved int the organization of the school or animate workshops or flash tutorials. It is always a good opportunity to share our expertise with the biological imaging community and to have a feed-back.

June 2025 : New cell sorter in MRI-IGMM facility
The new cell sorter is the FacsDiscover S8 from Becton Dickinson with Cell View technology: it is a spectral sorter with 4 lasers: violet, blue, yellow, red (56 fluorescence detectors) with the possibility of combining imaging on 3 fluorescence detectors linked to excitation by the blue laser. This instrument is placed under a biosafety cabinet, thereby improving sterility conditions, is equipped with a cloning unit (6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 384-well plates), allows the cells to be sorted and the sorted fraction to be thermostated, offers several configurations, including a very low pressure configuration (7 psi). A dedicated page will be soon created on our website.

23 june - 2 july 2025 : MRI and Tomocube organise a demonstration of a holotomograph microscope coupled to a sinning disk (CREST)
This holotomography-based microscope enables high-resolution acquisitions on thin and thick samples, in 3D without prior fluorescent staining You can see many application examples on the dedicated website. This technology can also be used to detect and track LLPS (Liquid Liquid Phase separation) over time.
Feel free to register for the demonstration on the dedicated page

10-12 june 2025 : BioCampus workshop "Machine learning applied to biological image analysis"
3 MRI engineers offer training in biological image analysis methods and tools based on automatic or deep learning.
June 2025 : New version of our website
Updating our website has led to some changes in the way it works, hence the lack of news over the last 6 months. Sorry about that.
MRI news are back!
